Abundance Deep Dive: Day 23
I didn’t think I’d be chatting about sex on a crafty blog, but here we are, haha.
To keep it more in alignment with my work and less about this area of my life, I’m going to relate this chat to the 5 senses.
How can you experience anything on a deeper level if you’re not in touch with your 5 senses first? Steve suggested going for a walk without any device, and simply observe what’s around you.
Smell, touch and look at everything you can. Listen to see what you can hear. When tasting something, really take the time to be in the moment and savour it.
When we can lean into the simple experiences that have nothing to do with sex, we have a greater range of experience to relate to, and can be quite surprised at what floats our boat when it comes to pleasure.
Another thing that Steve was chatting about was what sex means to us. For some people, there is trauma, and we need to be honest with what we need from our partners. This isn’t just bedroom related, but can transfer to other areas of our lives.
Ask for what you really want, and be as specific as possible. If the simulator is like a computer, you need to explain what it is that you’re looking for and what your needs are, so it can deliver to you the ideal match.
I think about my matches, both personal and in my professional life, and how many were partial matches? LOTS. Sad but true. What if instead, I ask for the ideal person and be patient as the Universe delivers them to me.
Ask for specific experiences and see what shows up.
This could be in any area of abundance, and I’m thinking about creativity as well. What might happen when I say to the simulator that I want to have deep meaningful connections with people as I am creative. It has nothing to do with sex, but these suggestions that come up today can easily transfer to other situations we feel are lacking in our lives.
Lots of food for thought today!
